Use Autodesk CAD's Model-Based Definition (MBD) tools to make your 3D models the source of all data that forms the basis for all product creation processes. Add dimensions, annotations, form and position tolerances, and other manufacturing information to parts and assemblies. The integrated tolerance generator shows you potential problems, errors and other important information.

CAD Guidelines - Basic Module

Together with your key users, we define rules for daily work in a full-day workshop. This includes the use of templates, the definition of a naming scheme, the definition of the working method for multi-user projects as well as the uniform structure of sketches, components, assemblies, drawing derivations and standard & purchased parts.  

The result is a set of rules with mandatory requirements and fixed guidelines, tips and hints for more effective work, as well as the presentation of potential challenges.

CAD Guidelines - Methodology Module

You get the most comprehensive support with our Methodology Module. It covers the topics of the basic module as well as the development of your CAD design methodology. In a three-day workshop, for which we will prepare ourselves optimally with data provided by you, among other things, the structural design of company-specific components, the location of coordinate systems, the functional design for central parametric control and workflows for your further processes. The results are finally documented for standardized handling.
