„Autodesk Make Reseller“certification

„Autodesk Make Reseller“certification. Cideon expands Autodesk portfolio with CAM & additive solutions.

Gräfelfing, Germany, 12  February 2020 – Cideon Software & Services was certified as an “Autodesk Make Reseller” on 01.02.2020. This provides the company, as an engineering solutions provider, even greater capacity for its successful sales of Autodesk solutions. Cideon has been an Autodesk Platinum Partner in German-speaking countries for some time now and has hereby expanded its portfolio with effective and efficient CAM and additive solutions.

Goal: Increased productivity

Cideon Managing Director Clemens Voegele describes the reasons for this: “The expansion of our offerings in the area of Design & Make means we can support our customers even more comprehensively in the Autodesk environment. Our current offerings in the sectors of MCAD, Factory Design and PDM have ideally been expanded with efficient and effective CAM and additive solutions.” As a platform provider, Cideon wants to optimally depict the complex end-to-end processes for product manufacturing to be able to quickly and flexibly react to market changes. As Voegele explains, the focus is on the customer: “Our customers benefit considerably from this additional expertise. We’re now in a position to support complex manufacturing processes with the goal of further increasing our customers’ productivity in product manufacturing processes.”

The products and consulting services related to the “Autodesk Make” certification are located in the following segments:

  • PowerMill / High-speed and 5-axis machining in manufacturing
  • FeatureCAM /Faster production thanks to automated CAM software for CNC programming
  • PowerInspect / 3D software for measuring/testing
  • PowerShape / Work preparation design
  • Netfabb / 3D printing software
  • Inventor CAM

The new Make certification provides real added value, especially for customers with complex components or extremely high demands with respect to quality or degree of automation within programming. The innovation factor increases in both the design process and in manufacturing. Faster product development cycles as well as new manufacturing technologies – for instance the change from generative design to additive manufacturing processes – also require engineering processes to be realigned.

Tobias Mohaupt in Solutions Management at Cideon explains: “With an integrated ‘Design & Make’ strategy, we offer our customers integrated solution concepts for manufacturing that are individually customised for the manufacturing processes of their products. Our combination of software solutions and the experienced Consulting & Customer Care team offer the ideal condition for success.”

The goal for customers is unmistakably clear: high quality assurance in combination with a reduction in throughput times and productivity increases throughout the entire manufacturing process.
