CIDEON customers at the SAP Customer Value Network
30 June 2009: Metso Minerals and Greenheck presented their solutions during the SAP PLM Customer Network Forum on June 10th and 11th at SAP’s headquarters in Newtown Square, PA. Both integrated their engineering environment into SAP PLM and described their experiences with the solution and the implementation.Fay Glunt presented, under the title: “See what Metso Minerals has done with SAP PLM CAD Integration,” a very exciting insight in Metso’s installation and demonstrated not only the functionality in such integrations but also the benefits for the downstream process. Printing all necessary documents for a purchase order was only one of the highlights.

Patrice Pergolski presented, under the title: “Implementing and Integrating PLM with SAP Manufacturing Processes,” a more process oriented view on Greenheck’s solution. Besides Greenheck’s experiences during the implementation, the capability to store attributes from the CAD model in SAP and to use them for manufacturing purpose was one of the main learning points.
