Consulting with clients on the installation of our products which integrate the engineering CAD design with the company's SAP manufacturing system.  By "integrate" we mean that SAP becomes the file storage mechanism for the CAD system and from that we develop the SAP manufacturing information.  From that starting point, we work with the customer's internal processes of New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Management and their external supplier / contract design processes on a global basis.  The reason this is a ME position is becausewe work with the customer on their processes to optimize this system integration.

We will train you on the use of SAP and on our products.  This is initially about three months training, much of it on-the-job but also with two weeks travel to our German headquarters to learn our products.  (Speaking / writing German is not necessary but would be a substantial plus.)

The employee will live here in the Philadelphia area but travel up to 100% to clients.  They will initially work with another consultant but quickly will work directly one-on-one with the customer.  When they are not at customers on projects, they will work and supplement their training in our Conshohocken office.

Tasks you will have to cover after your training period:

• Capture our customer's engineering and other process, in order to define the customer's requirements and developing statements of work for customer engagements.
• Define the architecture and develop and implement SAP PLM solutions into customer enviroments.
• Consult our customers in using our own software products for document output management, CAD collaboration and standard and spare part management.
• Conduct software testing on custom applications to ensure requirements are met and quality standards are met.
• Work with a sales team in prer sales activities to define customer application and process requirements and imparting the value of our solutions and services.
