Innovationszentrum Bahntechnik (European Centre for Innovation in Rail Technology) is a pooling of corporate groups, small and medium-sized companies as well as teaching and research facilities to form a network that operates on both a national and international level.

The objective of the club is to encourage the railway engineering, especially vehicle engineering, construction of traffic routes, control and safety technology, energy supply and the telematics in all life cycle phases. The research and technology transfer, the publication of scientific pieces of work and the education / further education are the main focal points of the work.
