German Pro Rail Alliance
The German Pro Rail Alliance is an alliance for the encouragement of environmentally-friendly and safe rail traffic in Germany. 16 non-profit associations have joined forces with the alliance: The environmental associations BUND (German branch of Friends of the Earth), NABU, Deutsche Umwelthilfe and NaturFreunde Deutschlands, the consumer associations Pro Bahn, DBV and VCD, the automobile clubs ACE and ACV, the three railway unions TRANSNET, GBDA and GDL as well as the railway associations BDEF, BF Bahnen, VBB and VDEI.
The member associations represent more than 2 million individual members. The rail alliance is supported by 75 companies from the railway sector.
