The work involved in migrating CAD files often involves time-consuming manual import procedures out of and into the SAP PLM System. During the Update of the CAD version it is often necessary to recalculate all existing data models and to mark and file these data in SAP without changing the old data stock. Along with the recalculation of the CAD components, an automatic editing of CAD documents is also often required.
