1992 Founding of CIDEON Engineering
1998 Founding of CID Engineering AG, today’s CIDEON AG, as a holding company.
2000 Consolidation of CAD & LAN with the CAD/CAM-Center CCC, to become today’s CIDEON Systems.
Takeover of 3CAD, a former competitor.
Outsourcing of the software-development department to CIDEON Software.
2001 CIDEON Systems becomes biggest Autodesk MCAD Reseller in Europe.
2002 Nomination of CIDEON Software as a SAP World Class Partner.
Opening of 4th office location in Düsseldorf, Germany.
2003 Through opening and expanding the subsidiary in Chemnitz, Germany, CIDEON becomes the biggest independent provider of rail car engineering services in Europe.
2005 Acquisition of another competitor in the South West  
2006 Founding of CIDEON America, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, USA
